What is geocaching?
Geocaching is a fairly new sport that uses a GPS to find caches. Caches are water-proof containers that are hidden at a particular coordinates.
What is the goal in geocaching?
A geocachers goal is to locate a hidden cache. At the cache the geocacher(s) will sign a log book and trade small trinkets. Your finds are tracked for free by Geocaching.com.
Are there rules to geocaching?
Yes, there are some guidelines that should be followed.
2) Respect the property that the cache is hidden on.
3) Respect the cache: Find it, sign it, leave it where you found it.
4) When trading swag, trade up, trade even, or don't trade.
5) Follow all laws while getting to a cache and while getting back to your car.
Optional: Cache In, Trash Out is a great way to help keep America beautiful. Our family each picks up at least one piece of trash while navigating back to our car. There are also special events throughout the year where large groups Cache In and Trash Out.
How do I get started geocaching?
Follow these steps:

4) Download or print coordinates for caches in your area from Geocaching.com
5) Locate caches.
